Smart toilet tested in hospitals to track patient fluids
NCT ID NCT05520346
Summary
This study is testing a new device that attaches to hospital toilets to automatically measure how much urine and stool a patient produces. The goal is to see if this device is as accurate as manual nurse measurements and if it can save nurses time and reduce their exposure to chemotherapy drugs. The study will involve 54 adult patients who are staying in the hospital for a stem cell transplant.
