Summary
This study tested a program to help staff at community mental health clinics better support their patients in quitting smoking. Researchers worked with 91 clinic staff to see if training and support could improve their knowledge and confidence in delivering evidence-based smoking cessation treatments. The goal was to see if the program could be used more widely to help people with mental health conditions stop smoking.
