Rural drinkers more likely to smoke? study investigates tobacco patterns
NCT ID NCT07010601
Summary
This research study aimed to understand why people in rural areas tend to use more tobacco products and have a harder time quitting. Researchers surveyed over 700 adults to see how living in a rural area and drinking alcohol might make someone more likely to start using tobacco or less likely to switch to safer alternatives. The goal was to gather information to help create better programs for reducing tobacco use.
