Zapping the brain to stop Post-Op confusion

Summary
This study is testing whether a non-invasive magnetic brain stimulation, given during surgery, can prevent postoperative delirium—a serious state of sudden confusion—in older adults having urological surgery. It will involve 220 participants aged 60 and over. Researchers will compare the rate and severity of confusion in patients who receive the stimulation to those who do not.
