Magnetic pulses target teen trauma in new PTSD study

NCT ID NCT07401225

Summary

This study is testing whether a non-invasive brain stimulation treatment called TMS can help teens who still have PTSD symptoms after completing talk therapy. Researchers will work with 20 participants aged 12-20 who have persistent PTSD despite previous treatment. The study involves 10 TMS sessions plus brain scans and follow-up visits to see if the treatment is safe and helpful for reducing symptoms.
