Brain zaps aim to rewire fear in PTSD patients

Summary
This study tests whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called TMS can help people with PTSD better process and overcome fear. Researchers will use brain scans and skin sensors to see how TMS changes fear-related brain activity. The goal is to learn how to improve fear extinction memory, which is often impaired in PTSD. 250 adults with and without PTSD will participate over four days.
