Brain scans may predict who benefits from TMS for depression

NCT ID NCT07422844

First seen Feb 21, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study is observing 100 adults with major depression who are already receiving transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) as part of their regular care. Researchers want to see if brain scans and symptom patterns can predict who will respond to TMS. They will track how symptoms change over the course of treatment. This is an observational study, not a test of a new treatment.
