New hope for amputees: surgery may ease phantom limb pain

Summary
This study tests two surgical techniques, TMR and RPNI, alone or together, to reduce chronic and phantom limb pain in cancer patients who have had an amputation. About 45 adults will be randomly assigned to one of three surgery groups. The goal is to see which approach works best and is safest for easing pain.
