This study tests a new radiation technique called total marrow and lymphoid irradiation (TMLI) given before a stem cell transplant from a half-matched donor. The goal is to deliver higher radiation to cancer cells while protecting healthy organs, potentially reducing serious side effects like organ damage and graft-versus-host disease. The trial includes 33 adults with acute leukemia or high-risk myelodysplastic syndrome. Researchers are measuring how well patients survive without relapse or severe complications.
