Do jaw surgery results last a decade? new study aims to find out

NCT ID NCT06782165

Summary

This study aims to understand if the benefits of jaw joint (TMJ) surgery last over the long term. Researchers are following 91 patients who had surgery about 10 years ago to see if their positive results at the 6-month check-up have held up. The goal is to learn if early success predicts lasting improvement and to track any changes in the joint over time.
