Scientists test how well people with jaw pain feel thin foils between their teeth
NCT ID NCT07163494
Summary
This study aims to understand if people with chronic jaw pain (temporomandibular disorders) feel thin foils between their teeth differently than healthy people. Researchers will compare 80 participants - half with jaw pain and half without - by placing various thicknesses of special foils between their back teeth. The goal is to gather knowledge about how jaw pain affects sensitivity, not to test treatments.
