First seen Jun 09, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tested two strengths of an ointment (TMB-001) in 34 people aged 9 and older with congenital ichthyosis, a rare genetic condition causing thick, scaly skin. The goal was to see if the ointment could safely reduce scaling and improve skin appearance. Participants applied the ointment daily for 12 weeks, and doctors measured changes in skin severity.
