First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looked at whether the muscle relaxant tizanidine affects the acoustic reflex, which is your ear's natural way of protecting itself from loud sounds. 48 adults who were already taking tizanidine had their hearing and reflex tested before and after one week of treatment. The goal was to see if the medication changes how this reflex works.
