New drug trial targets Tough-to-Treat bile duct cancer

Summary

This study is testing a drug called tivozanib for people with advanced bile duct cancer (cholangiocarcinoma) that cannot be removed by surgery and has continued to grow after initial chemotherapy. The main goals are to find a safe dose and see if the drug can shrink or stop the growth of tumors. Participants will take the drug as a daily pill in repeating cycles.
