Summary
This study is investigating how the weight-loss medication tirzepatide affects muscle health in women with obesity. Researchers will give either the medication or a placebo to 30 premenopausal women for 24 weeks and measure changes in body weight, muscle strength, and muscle tissue. The goal is to understand if this popular medication helps preserve muscle quality and function while people lose weight.
