Could a simple gel speed up recovery from skin surgery?

NCT ID NCT07384767

Summary

This study is testing if applying a gel called timolol to a surgical wound helps it heal faster and better than standard wound care. It will involve 220 adults who have had a skin cancer removal procedure and whose wounds are left to heal naturally. Participants will apply either the timolol gel or a standard hydrogel to their wound daily for 12 weeks and take photos to track healing progress.
