Summary
This study looked at 227 people with colorectal cancer that had spread to the lining of the abdomen (peritoneal metastases). Researchers wanted to see if longer waits between chemotherapy and surgery hurt chances of survival. The goal was to find out if speeding up treatment could help patients live longer without the cancer coming back.
