Feeding clock ticked: Time-Restricted nutrition may boost stroke outcomes

NCT ID NCT06161948

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tested whether giving tube-feeding only during an 8-12 hour window each day (instead of continuously) improves recovery in 420 severe stroke patients. Participants had either a brain bleed or clot and were followed for 90 days to see if they had less disability. The approach is simple and could be easily adopted if proven effective.
