Time-Restricted eating may boost metabolic health in postmenopausal women

NCT ID NCT04893226

First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests whether limiting eating to a specific window each day can improve insulin sensitivity, weight, and other metabolic measures in postmenopausal women with metabolic syndrome. About 164 women aged 45-65 who are prediabetic or have at least two features of metabolic syndrome will be randomly assigned to time-restricted feeding or a usual eating schedule. The goal is to see if this simple dietary change can reduce metabolic risk without medication.
