Could daily fasting boost cancer treatment?

NCT ID NCT06603155

Summary

This study aimed to see if time-restricted eating (limiting food to a 10-hour daily window) could improve outcomes for people with advanced head & neck or kidney cancer receiving immunotherapy. Researchers wanted to learn if this eating pattern changes gut bacteria and the body's response to treatment, with a special focus on outcomes for African American participants. The study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
