New surgery combo may save sight after eye bleed in wet AMD

Summary
This study tests whether adding a surgical procedure to standard anti-VEGF injections can help people with wet age-related macular degeneration who have a bleed under the retina see better. About 210 adults aged 50 and older will be randomly assigned to get either injections alone or injections plus surgery. The goal is to see if the surgery leads to greater vision improvement after one year.
