First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looked at 70 adults having kidney stone surgery to see if the amount of air given by the breathing machine during anesthesia changes how the surgery goes. Patients were split into two groups based on whether they got low or standard air volume. Researchers measured surgery time, laser use, stone removal success, and complications. The goal was to find the best breathing settings for smoother surgery.
