Healthy volunteers test new combo heart pill for easier dosing
NCT ID NCT07444164
First seen Mar 04, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tested whether a single pill containing two heart medicines (ticagrelor and aspirin) works the same in the body as taking the two pills separately. Twenty-four healthy adults in Mexico took both forms and had their blood levels measured. The goal was to see if the combo pill is absorbed similarly, not to treat any disease.
