Heart pill combo tested in healthy volunteers

NCT ID NCT07444164

First seen Mar 04, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study tested whether a single pill containing two heart medications (ticagrelor and aspirin) works the same as taking them separately. Twenty-four healthy adults took both forms and had their blood levels measured. The goal was to see if the combination pill is absorbed similarly, which could simplify treatment for people with heart conditions.
