Emergency room care for Mini-Strokes under scrutiny

NCT ID NCT07339787

Summary

This study aims to understand how emergency departments diagnose and manage patients who have had a Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA), often called a 'mini-stroke.' Researchers will review the medical records of 300 adults who visited emergency rooms with TIA symptoms in 2024. The goal is to see if the tests and treatments patients receive match their actual risk of having a future stroke.
