Summary
This study compares two surgical tools used to control bleeding during thyroid removal surgery. Researchers want to see if a newer tool called LigaSure leads to shorter surgery times and fewer complications like nerve damage or low calcium levels compared to the standard bipolar diathermy tool. The trial will involve 30 adult patients in Egypt who need thyroid surgery for benign or low-risk cancerous conditions.
