First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study was designed to measure the thickness of the carotid artery (a key blood vessel in the neck) in people having thyroid surgery. The goal was to see if changes in artery thickness after surgery relate to the type of thyroid disease, hormone levels, or other heart risk factors. The study was withdrawn before enrolling any participants, so no results are available.
