New ultrasound tech could sharpen thyroid nodule diagnosis
NCT ID NCT07041307
Summary
This study is testing a new, high-resolution ultrasound technique to see the tiniest blood vessels inside thyroid nodules. Researchers hope that by mapping these blood vessels, they can better tell the difference between harmless and potentially cancerous nodules. This could help doctors make more accurate decisions about which patients need surgery.
