Scientists investigate heated thyroid nodules years later

Summary
This study follows 180 people who had benign thyroid nodules treated with radiofrequency heat ablation three years ago. Researchers will use ultrasound and a thin needle biopsy to check the nodules' appearance and cell changes. The goal is to create a new guide for doctors to better detect cancer in treated nodules.
