Summary
This study aims to find out which form of thyroid hormone medication works best and safest for babies born with an underactive thyroid gland. Researchers will follow about 120 children in Italy for several years, comparing a new liquid solution to older drop and tablet forms. They will check thyroid hormone levels, track development, and monitor for side effects to see which treatment helps children grow and develop normally.
