First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding desiccated thyroid extract (DTE) to standard levothyroxine can help intermediate-to-high risk thyroid cancer patients reach their TSH suppression targets faster and more safely. About 646 adults who have had surgery for differentiated thyroid cancer will take part. The goal is to improve hormone balance and reduce risks like cancer recurrence, heart problems, and bone thinning.
