First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tested a new tool called CQUPLE to see if it helps patients with low-risk thyroid cancer make better-informed treatment decisions. Fifty adults aged 18 to 80 with newly diagnosed low-risk thyroid cancer took part. Half received the CQUPLE tool before their surgeon visit, while the other half got usual care. The researchers measured how acceptable and feasible the tool was, and whether it changed the treatment people chose.
