Summary
This study tested an electronic conversation aid designed to help patients and their doctors work together to decide if a thyroid nodule needs a biopsy. It involved 107 adults with thyroid nodules to see if using the tool was practical and acceptable. The main goal was to see if this approach could be used in a larger future study to improve decision-making and potentially reduce unnecessary procedures.
