First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding an immune-boosting drug (thymosin alpha 1) to standard chemo-immunotherapy and radiation can improve outcomes for people with stage III gastroesophageal junction cancer. About 48 participants will receive either the standard treatment or the standard plus thymosin before surgery. The main goal is to see if the combination leads to a higher rate of complete cancer disappearance (pathological complete response) at the time of surgery.
