Could a whiff of thyme ease asthma breathing?
NCT ID NCT06664671
Summary
This study tested whether inhaling thyme oil could help people with asthma breathe better and control their symptoms. Researchers worked with 156 hospitalized adults in Turkey, having some use thyme oil inhalers, some use empty inhalers, and some receive no special treatment for four days. They measured changes in asthma symptoms, breathing tests, and overall asthma control to see if the thyme oil made a difference.
