Summary
This study looked at whether a specific 8-week exercise program can improve thumb joint alignment in people with thumb arthritis. It also tested if ultrasound can measure joint movement as accurately as a CT scan. 21 adults with thumb arthritis participated. The goal was to learn more about how exercise affects the joint and find easier ways to track treatment progress.
