Can special exercises realign arthritic thumbs?
NCT ID NCT05247398
Summary
This study tested whether an 8-week program of specialized hand exercises could improve joint alignment and reduce pain in people with thumb arthritis. It also checked if ultrasound imaging could accurately measure joint changes compared to standard CAT scans. The goal was to find non-drug ways to help people manage this common and painful condition.
