Summary
This study is testing if a numbing injection given during surgery for non-cancerous vocal cord growths helps patients recover better. Researchers will compare the numbing shot to a placebo (saltwater) injection. They will measure if it reduces pain and coughing after surgery and helps patients' voices improve.
