First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This early-stage study tests whether a drug called tocilizumab-aazg is safe and might help prevent strokes in people who have had a burst brain aneurysm. About 30 adults will receive the drug within 24 hours of their aneurysm. The main goal is to check for side effects like liver problems or low blood cell counts, while also seeing if it reduces the risk of delayed strokes.
