Double surgery approach may keep glaucoma in check longer
NCT ID NCT07073937
First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looks at whether combining two minimally invasive glaucoma surgeries (Hydrus microstent and iTrack canaloplasty) along with cataract surgery can lower eye pressure better than cataract surgery alone. Researchers will review records of 100 patients with open-angle glaucoma who had these combined procedures and track their eye pressure, medication use, and vision changes for three years. The goal is to see if this approach helps patients use fewer glaucoma drops and maintain better eye pressure control over time.
