First seen Jan 02, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving two drugs (thiotepa and trastuzumab) directly into the spinal fluid can shrink or control breast cancer that has spread to the lining of the brain. It involves 26 adults with HER2-positive breast cancer who already have a special port (Ommaya reservoir) placed in their head. The goal is to see if this approach can slow the cancer's growth in the brain and improve outcomes.
