New drug combo aims to revive immune response in lung cancer
NCT ID NCT06908304
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This phase 3 trial tests whether a new drug called THIO, given before the immunotherapy cemiplimab, can help people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer who have already tried two prior treatments. About 300 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the THIO-cemiplimab combo or standard chemotherapy. The main goal is to see if the combo helps people live longer.
