Summary
This study tested a mobile app called ThinkSono Guidance that helps healthcare workers without ultrasound training, like nurses, perform scans to detect blood clots in the legs. Over 600 adults with symptoms of deep vein thrombosis took part. The app successfully guided users to get clear images and accurately identified which patients needed urgent specialist care.
