First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tests a non-invasive brain stimulation method called iTBS as a stand-alone treatment for depression in people who choose not to take antidepressant medication. 72 participants are randomly assigned to start treatment right away or after a 4-week wait. The goal is to see if iTBS can ease depression symptoms compared to simply waiting.
