NCT ID NCT07627633
First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at whether adding a liquid called Theravex to a bone graft helps people with low bone in the upper jaw get stronger dental implants. Sixteen adults will receive either the standard bone graft or a graft mixed with Theravex during a sinus lift procedure. The main goal is to see if the mixture improves bone growth and implant stability over three to six months.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
- Active substance
- Theravex (Bone Bioactive Liquid) mixed with equine granulate xenograft
- What this could lead to
- If it works, this could lead to a better way to grow bone in the sinus area, making dental implants more stable and successful.
- What could go wrong
- This is a very small early study with only 16 people, so results may not apply to everyone. The treatment is for a specific dental procedure, not a general health breakthrough.
