Mind over weight: new therapy aims to stop regain after surgery

NCT ID NCT06484621

Summary

This study is testing if a psychological therapy can help people stay physically active to prevent weight regain after bariatric surgery for obesity. Researchers will compare the therapy to an educational program in 164 adults who had surgery 8-20 months ago. Participants will attend online workshops, complete homework, and track their activity and weight over 18 months to see which approach works better.
