New hope for teens in crisis: therapy study aims to reduce Self-Harm

NCT ID NCT06315075

Summary

This study is testing how well a 20-week therapy program works for teenagers who struggle with self-harm and suicidal thoughts. Researchers will follow 140 adolescents to see if the therapy reduces self-harm episodes and suicide attempts, improves mood and quality of life, and helps teens stick with treatment. The goal is to understand if this therapy is effective when used in regular clinical practice and to see which teens benefit most from it.
