Scientists scan brains to see how marijuana impairs memory

NCT ID NCT06647524

Summary

This Yale University study uses brain scans to understand how THC, the main active ingredient in marijuana, affects memory, decision-making, and balance in adults. Ten participants will complete thinking tasks in an MRI scanner after receiving either THC or a placebo. The goal is to map how THC changes brain activity during mental tasks, not to treat any condition.
