Citrus compound meets cannabis: scientists study their combined effects

NCT ID NCT06378957

First seen Jun 04, 2026

Summary

This study looks at how a natural citrus compound called d-limonene affects the body's response to THC, the main psychoactive ingredient in cannabis. Researchers will give healthy adults oral doses of THC, d-limonene, or both, and measure their feelings of drug effect and liking. The goal is to better understand how these substances interact, not to treat any disease.
