Summary

This study looks at how different risk factors, like iron overload from blood transfusions, affect the growth of children with beta-thalassemia major. Researchers will measure height, weight, and body mass index in 85 children aged 1 to 18. The goal is to better understand growth problems in these children to improve future care.
